How much space do you need?

As we’re just a duo, we can make do with a small amount of space for a stage (2.5m across by 2m wide).

How is it best to time things?

We generally suggest a 30 minute set up at a time convenient for you, then the first live set at around 8:30-9:30 pm, then a DJ set until 10:15 pm, then second live set 10:15-11:15 pm, with DJing until the end.

Can I pick the bands playlist?

Yes, although we have lots of experience of what works, so would be happy to discuss.

Where will you travel to?

The moon if necessary, although costs vary - we are based in London.

Can I see you play live?

We currently have a Friday night residency at a tequila bar called “El Patron” in Putney, South West London, and we play at various other public bars and clubs in London at different times. Do check with us via email for exact dates.

Will you learn our special song?

Yes.

Is the video on your website a true reflection of the band?

Yes, what you see is what you’ll get, although we have such a wide range of material that if you just watch one don’t assume that style is all we do.

Are you able to DJ in between sets?

Yes.

Can we make DJ requests in advance to my event?

Yes.

Can we use your sound system for speeches?

Yes.

What equipment do you use?

We have a 2200W FBT Vertus PA system, 2x Mackie SRM450 additional speakers for even more power if needed, a Mackie ProFX12 mixing desk, microphones, Macbook Pro laptop, Martin acoustic guitar, Akai MPK synthesiser and a Yamaha drumkit.

Do you have lights?

Yes.

How long do you play for?

Generally, 2x 45-1 hr sets, although we can play longer or shorter if necessary.

What time do you start and finish?

Typically, our live sets start at 8:30 pm and end at 11:15 pm.

How long do you take to set up?

30 minutes.

Can I provisionally book you?

We require a non-refundable 25% deposit, but yes.

What if the band split up before my event?

This won’t happen- we have replacements- ex-members and other professional musicians- to call upon in an emergency, although haven’t had to do that before!

Can my sisters/bosses/daughters dog sing with your band?

With a bit of notice, yes.

What will the band wear?

Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates?

Yes.
