About The Medley Boys
Our unique act is a music duo witha twist. One of us plays the keyboard, samples and percussion, while the other plays the guitar, sings and kicks the bass drum - so you get a full band sound with just the two of us!
You can hire us for all kinds of events such as, weddings, private parties, corporate events, anniversaries, shopping mall stands, exhibitions; small stages to large festivals...the possibilites are endless!
Nick - Lead Vocals / Guitar / Drums
Nick sings lead vocals whilst playing the guitar with his hands and a bass drum with his feet. He writes all the arrangements for the band, drawing on an intense knowledge and love of pop music from a young age. As a songwriter and producer he has written songs for a BBC4 documentary and a Lucozade advert, whilst as a guitarist he has played in the National Youth Guitar Ensemble, the London Contemporary Music Festival and the UK tour of Hairspray The Musical (2015).
James - Lead Vocals / Drums / Synth
James sings lead vocals whilst playing the drums with his right hand and a synthesiser with his left. Since graduating from Downing College, Cambridge with a degree in Music, he has sung as part of Gareth Malone’s Voices, performing on the Royal Variety Show, Children in Need Rocks, Classic Brits and various high profile TV appearances. He has also worked for the Royal Philharmonic Society and Performing Right Society. As a tutor, he coaches numerous young singers and pianists for the Eton Choral Courses and National Children’s Choir.
